Hi everyone,

Thanks for dropping by my blog! Recently, I fell in love with a little green house and the art of photography. As a geologist my work takes me many places across the country, from the Rockies to the Appalachians. My current mapping project is in the Newfoundland Appalachians, hence many of my earlier photos are from there. I've always enjoyed the outdoors and the beauty that is literally EVERYWHERE. Whether it`s the bright lights of the city or a broken lobster trap washed up on a beach or an old chair in an alley...everything is pretty cool when seen in a certain light….....
Me and My Green Hat This is me and my green hat. A lot of my work is on the coast line. This particular day we had over 60 mm of rain and it was so cold and wet I slipped and sprained my thumb. The only injury I’ve had in the field, and mind you,I have been in a few sticky situations!:) (Knock on wood)………….All in the name of science!
