Hi everyone,

Thanks for dropping by my blog! Recently, I fell in love with a little green house and the art of photography. As a geologist my work takes me many places across the country, from the Rockies to the Appalachians. My current mapping project is in the Newfoundland Appalachians, hence many of my earlier photos are from there. I've always enjoyed the outdoors and the beauty that is literally EVERYWHERE. Whether it`s the bright lights of the city or a broken lobster trap washed up on a beach or an old chair in an alley...everything is pretty cool when seen in a certain light….....
A wharf to me is the calmest place on the earth. To hang my legs over, to listen to the water, to lie down on and think about whatever comes to my mind. © Shawna E White
